This time AKIWAWA welcomes DJ Reezm out of Zurich. Of course it's not his first time playing in Basel. His big early 80/90s rap collection and mixing skills resulted in several bookings for the Rap History sessions. Currently he's one of the resident DJs of last years freshly launched "Mind The Gap" series at Kaserne Basel, focusing on new beatz, electronica and the likes. But still, he's always playing the black and round discs only, without computerized help, classic style! This clearly makes sense as he's running the great Humrecords store in Zurich with his mates. The store offers a wide range of musical styles and so does DJ Reezm. Apart from the beats/rap records, he owns a deep collection of everything with a touch of soul, funk & jazz from all across the globe. We think it's about time this stuff is getting played in Basel, so he'll stuff his bags with old dusty, crackling plates from the 60s & 70s to join us... We're more than happy to have our old friend partying with us at Kaschemme... AKIWAWA!
